I loved the most about this hotel, is that they have a lot of areas to lounge. One can have there private space without others.

Well kept up, beautiful grounds with fire pits, lots of place to sit around or take a stroll both indoors and outdoors. Rooms are clean but could be nicer.

We recently had our wedding at LaKota Oaks. A beautiful and tranquil place to celebrate. The service is wonderful from the moment you check-in to the moment you check-out. Hazel, their catering manager, is truly a gem.

Where do we start? If you’re planning a wedding or large celebration hurry because if they keep doing what they do, they will be fully booked! Our guests loved the FOOD, they loved the VENUE, they loved the STAFF, and all a two minute walk to the well-appointed rooms - what more could we ask. LaKota Oaks made our dream of a reunion wedding WEEKEND a reality - from a Friday welcome dinner to a Sunday farewell breakfast it was everything we hoped it would be, and more. Hazel steers the ship like a seasoned captain. Christine runs the restaurant but is perfectly happy to give tours if you look the slightest bit interested. Everyone on the staff LIVES their tag line - hospitality defined!

A beautiful venue with vast grounds and a rich history. The Facilities Manager, Pasquale loves to share stories and knows every detail of this gorgeous campus. This place should definitely be on the short list if you are planning a wedding, corporate event, etc in Fairfield County!

I went to a company retreat here and have a lovely stay. The property is beautiful and as a former Monastery, it has a lot of interesting history. The staff is great. The food is delicious...AND I was able to schedule an in-room massage! This place is a hidden gem for sure.

This place is tops. The only issue is the room lighting could be brighter and more towels in the bathroom. Location is fine but just takes forever to get there 😊

We hosted a small event at Whispering Oaks and it was a lovely experience from start to finish! Gayle was wonderful to work with and she made everything easy. We had the outdoor area for the event and it was perfect - the guests loved it and all commented on how beautiful the grounds were. The kids enjoyed running around on the grass :) We used Palmer's for catering and it was delicious! We will definitely consider Whispering Oaks again for a future event and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Great property in the middle of Norwalk! Very quiet, lots of parking, lovely well kept grounds. Gayle from LaKota took me around the property. Very modern and set up for large meetings and exhibitions with multiple large conference and meeting rooms. Full catering services available.

My wife and I got married at Whispering Oaks in June 2025 and everything was outstanding - we cannot recommend this place enough! Henrietta and her team were incredible from start to finish. From the beginning of the planning process to execution on the weekend of the event, they were easy to work with and amenable to our various requests. Having so much family and friends traveling in from out of town, an on-site, private hotel made everything much easier and the whole weekend more special. The rooms and facilities were all clean and comfortable, while the grounds themselves were beautiful. Our guests raved about everything from start to finish, especially all of the employees at the venue.
